The Silvertree Sawmill was one of the largest mills on the Fraser River in Vancouver. The old timberframe mill was slowly surrounded by newer construction over its working life. |
| The mill contains approximately 400,000 board feet of old growth fir wood as tongue and groove ceilings and floors, 6x12 timbers, huge rough timbers and glulam beams. |

The wood is removed from the structure by hand and crane. It is then denailed, trimmed of all damage and packaged for trucking. Some of the material goes in large quantities to remanufacturers. Some packages are taken to our yard to be used by innovative builders in new construction projects. |
